Last Thursday, June 29, the 5th Ecotransport Forum organized by Transcalit – Sertralit and Encamion took place at the RCG El Prat facilities

More than 170 people including carriers, vehicle manufacturers, transport service providers, loaders and representatives of the administration attended this fifth edition of a meeting that has established itself as a benchmark debate forum for the road transport sector and that we had the privilege of hosting at the Real Club de Golf El Prat.

On this occasion, the leitmotiv of the day was the sustainability of the activity and the new sources of energy for vehicles, with the aim of trying to begin to give answers to a question: How can freight transport evolve? road to alternative fuels without reducing efficiency and service?

Jesús Lozano, president of Transcalit, inaugurated the Ecotransport Forum emphasizing the urgent need to reverse the ecological disaster that humanity has caused the planet. In this environment of uncertainty and great changes, Jesús Lozano advocated the growth of companies, their professionalization and the attraction of talent. Likewise, he highlighted the need for women to join the sector and in management positions and to improve professional training, being led by the sector itself. The final objective is to dignify an activity in which all companies, associations and entities can contribute their grain of sand.
